The difference between traditional press and internet blog is essential. The former one is static but authoritative, the latter is dynamic but less formal. Both media has their strengths and weaknesses. I think your introduction is not very inclusive because you only commented on the strengths of blog. On the other hand, I think that your blog shows some of your knowledge in that area, if you could cite some ideas or facts from other sources it would be more impressive.
