With AP, for example, nearly 4000 professional reporters, producing 2000 words content everyday, publishing in more than 8500 kinds of newspapers, the magazine, and broadcast. This pattern of the cathedral dominates the whole media word. At this time the trend of individual blogs are in conflicts to traditional media, especially to the traditional concept and moral rule.

The problem with Open Source Software

The Problem with Open Source Software

Open-Source Software (OSS) is computer software with its source code made available and licensed with a license in which the copyright holder provides the rights to study, change and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.【1】
In this video, Mon Jun Merrett ,the software developer, shares ideas on problems to Open Source Software. I found this video worth sharing because Mon Jun Merrett offers practical problems in the open source community. Personally, I gained lots of insight  into what to expect, and considering to perfect developing in open source.
The first view shared by Mon Jun Merrett is that every part of the open code should be clear. That is to say the code should be read by somebody else. Developer should be able to make sense of it. And that might make a job effectively. In most case, somebody does not know clearly what they want to cite. So if any part of codes explaining by description, then others could know the meaning of every part they will quote and know exactly the size of codes should be used, avoiding mistakes.

What's more, the second major problem is that open source should be module. That is to say each piece of code that as a specific job should be in a clearly defined place and should not have side effects upon a part outside define. Most people in the open source community should note this and be familiar with object-oriented programming. Ruby is an object warranted language a lot of people familiar with this idea. I mean this idea keeps everything absolutely clear and completely modular. For example, car Margiela 22 really emphasized the importance on modularity .

What is QR Code?
QR Code is a kind of matrix bar code, or two dimension bar code, created by company of Denso-Wave Company in Japan in 1994. QR code is a short name for Quick Response, means make a quick response. The purpose of QR Code is that aiming to decode in a second.[1]

Japan is the most popular country with QR Code.
QR Code is most popular in Japan which can contain more information in a square space and it avoiding aiming target in a right line of the older one—barcode. Since QR Code is designed of square space, making up in white and black. QR Code own three square picture in four corners. These three picture are design to decode, avoiding to match with code exactly. No mater what kind of angle you scan it, it always works.
Broad-spectrum application of QR Code.
We use QR Code to restore address of shop or a website which is more popular in magazine or advertising even in a bus station. It is trend in a business card, which make it easy to input contact information by phone. For example, when you scan it in poster, you can link to the aiming webpage of that exact website, and then you will get purchase information or get coupon form it. Now many famous website like Yahoo own its QR Code. In addition, when passenger scan QR Code in a bus station, they can get schedule of bus system immediately.

Now there are some software like Indesign can make QR Code by ourselves. It is popular and convenient.

This is an international student coming from China. My undergraduate school is HanDan College in China and my major is Math and Applied Math. I am first year Math Department graduate student at San Jose State University. I am interested in statistics and vector problems.

I am tasting the difference between China and US from educational aspects to social construction. My goal is to find the optimizing model of social division of labor in order to  eliminate primary waste of time and finance from key link of education and I am tracking the best basis for allocating resource.

Specialities
1 statistics method analysis
2 analysis reason of event
3 Math Modeling by using Math method

Award
First prize in Hebei province for National University Math Modeling Contest

Story
In my junior year of university, I took part in national University Math Modeling Contest with other two students as a team. Through three whole days and nights, we completed the essay and then reach the final to got first prize of Hebei province. The problem of this contest is practical, something about measuring degree of oil tank. That is actually a hard work, we change our previous idea at the afternoon of the second day, so we had to stay up the whole night to perfect our idea. But that passion experience is valuable memory of my life.

Open source
Liang Zhang
 2014-3-3

Open source is a new notation in computer field, defied by Debian.

Open source includes Free Distribution. That is to say person who gain the origin code can distribute it again. In this open situation, everyone can manage the advanced program in software market.
First, it is a big deal for fair. Human wisdom should benefit human beings. Open Source for individual or firms can take full advantage for programming. Otherwise, much potential creative ideas are buried in silence.

Second, Open Source is in favor of prosperous of market. If someone owns the unique technology, he or she can dominate that field for generations, which goes against booming market developing. But with Open Source everyone can use that advanced code to deriving works. And then it will stimulate some new idea and reproduce some similar but prefer products at the same time constantly improving.

Third, Open Source is benefits for multiple progressing. Most perfect programming are based on other’s foundation. It will cost time from zero to climax and it is a kind of wasting. Open Source offer a platform in compliment. People in a higher level will create more advanced programming in a short time and cost less money, which is good news for consumers.

It is a revolution in marketing of a strong sense of patent nation. It is hard to imagine how obstacles it met at the beginning since it is a direct challenge for patent. This will spare enormous benefit from company which own unique technology relating program code.

Cyber Security

1 Know Your Network Infrastructure Vulnerabilities to Avoid Hacks

Network infrastructure vulnerabilities are the foundation for most technical security issues and hacks in your information systems. These lower-level vulnerabilities affect practically everything running on your network. That’s why you need to test for them and eliminate them whenever possible.
Your focus for ethical hacking tests on your network infrastructure should be to find weaknesses that others can see in your network so you can quantify your network’s level of exposure.

2 Banner Grabs Can Give a Hacker Information to Attack E-mail

When hacking an e-mail server, a hacker’s first order of business is performing a basic banner grab to see whether he can discover what e-mail server software is running. This is one of the most critical tests to find out what the world knows about your SMTP, POP3, and IMAP servers.
Countermeasures against banner attacks
There isn’t a 100 percent secure way of disguising banner information. Take a look at these banner security tips for your SMTP, POP3, and IMAP servers:
Change your default banners to cover up the information.
Make sure that you’re always running the latest software patches.
Harden your server as much as possible by using well-known best practices from such resources as the Center for Internet Security and NIST.

3 Test Firewall Rules to Prevent Network Hacks
As part of your ethical hacking, you can test your firewall rules to make sure they're working as they're supposed to. Breaches in firewalls can easily compromise your best efforts at security. A few tests can verify that your firewall actually does what it says it's doing.
1  Load Netcat on a client machine inside the network.
2  Load Netcat on a testing computer outside the firewall.
3  Enter the Netcat listener command on the client (internal) machine with the port number you're testing.
